ORTHODONTIC & INVISALIGN® TREATMENT NEAR ST. JOHN’S
The alignment of your teeth affects the way you chew, how easily you can brush and floss – and how you feel about your smile. At Paradise Dental Care, we offer orthodontic treatment to children, teens and adults. We can make traditional metal braces more fun for children with coloured bands, while adults and older teens may prefer more discreet treatment with clear braces from Invisalign®. Our St. John’s area practice has helped people of all ages improve the alignment of their teeth with a variety of orthodontic treatments.
ABOUT INVISALIGN® TREATMENT
While there are some “quick fix” ways, such as the application of veneers, to hide problems with tooth alignment, Invisalign® aligners are clear, comfortable aligners that actually correct tooth alignment over time. No wires or brackets are used, so they are more comfortable than the braces you remember from your childhood, and they are made of clear material, so they won’t hide your smile.
At Paradise Dental Care, you will be given a series of clear aligners, each designed to be worn in sequence, which gradually adjust the position of your teeth. You will be able to remove them when you eat, so you can continue to enjoy your favorite foods; you can also remove the aligners for easy cleaning. You should plan on wearing your aligner for most of the day (20 to 22 hours per day is most effective).
INVISALIGN® ALIGNERS CAN BE USED TO TREAT:
-
Crowding
-
Spacing
-
Crossbite
-
Underbite
-
Overbite
With Invisalign® aligners, you only need to visit the office every 4 to 6 weeks. While the duration of the treatment may vary depending on your individual case, many people see the results they want in about 12 months.
